Commercial products and services are available for purchase by state and local governments, including tribal governments and educational institutions defined under 40 U.S.C. § 502(c). Please visit each program page to see if you are eligible to purchase. If you have a question about eligibility, please visit the GSA eligibility determinations page for more information. If needed, GSA will issue a formal determination on behalf of the requesting entity that clearly outlines access to GSA sources of supply. Entities that clearly fall under the definition of state and local government do NOT need to request an eligibility determination. Why buy from Schedules? Schedules offer: • Strong, competitive pool of pre -vetted contractors • Pre -negotiated terms, conditions, and competitive prices with the flexibility to seek more discounts • Emerging technologies and innovative solutions • Electronic tools that help you conduct market research, • find qualified sources, • streamline and maximize competition, and • simplify online purchasing What can you buy through Schedules? State, local, tribal governments and educational institutions may utilize the following programs to buy goods and services. Program Name Description Cooperative IT, security, and law enforcement products, services, and solutions that support everyday activities and Purchasing your overall mission are available through Schedule 70 and Schedule 84. Program Program Name Description Disaster Products and services under all Schedules are available, when buying in support of disaster preparation, Purchasing response, and major disaster recovery, as well as recovery from biological, radiological, or terrorist Program attacks. Public Health Products and services offered under all Schedules when spending federal grants funds in direct Emergencies response to public health emergencies. 1122 Program Equipment to support counterdrug missions, homeland security, and emergency response from General Services Administration (GSA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and Department of Defense (DoD) sources of supply. Equipment from GSA sources is limited to specific Schedules and specific vehicles available from GSA's AutoChoice Program. National Wildland Fire Program - This program was transferred to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) on May 1, 2014.
