Background of Item: The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") announced the final Community Planning and Development Program Formula Allocations for FY2019, as such, the amount of CDBG funds being recommended. Pursuant to Resolution No.19-0273, adopted July 11, 2019, the Miami City Commission approved CDBG Fiscal Year categories, allocating the amount of $808,454.10 and the amount of $123,002.78 from previous year program income for a total amount of $931,456.88 in the Public Service category. The City Administration recommends the allocation for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 CDBG funds, from HUD entitlement grants funds in the amount of $808,454.10 and the amount of $123,002.78 from previous year program income in the Public Service category, to the agencies specified in Attachment "A", attached and incorporated, for Public Service activities beginning October 1, 2019. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The allocation of PY 2019-2020 CDBG funds in the amount of $808,454.10 and in the amount of $123,002.78 from previous year program income, for a total amount of $931,456.88 in the Public Service category to the agencies specified in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated, for Public Service activities beginning October 1, 2019 is authorized.'
