WAS is the only manufacturer, distributor and patent holder of the MVAC system in the world. The MVAC system is capable of extracting DNA from non -porous surfaces, like rocks and fabric. Traditional methods do not capture enough cells to make a viable match. The MVAC system is currently in use in Police and Sheriff's Departments locally, nationally and internationally. Some of the local users are the Police Departments of Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Davie, Miami Beach and Pembroke Pines, as well as Sheriff's Departments of Broward, and Collier County. All of these contracts were established via a Sole Source. The MVAC System is the only system currently capable of extracting DNA from rocks and collects more DNA than traditional methods.
