NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ANY PERSON WHO RECEIVES COMPENSATION, REMUNERATION OR EXPENSES
FOR CONDUCTING LOBBYING ACTIVITIES IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A
LOBBYIST WITH THE CITY CLERK PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN LOBBYING ACTIVITIES
BEFORE CITY STAFF, BOARDS AND COMMITTEES OR THE CITY COMMISSION. A
COPY OF THE APPLICABLE ORDINANCE IS AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE OF THE
CITY CLERK (MIAMI CITY HALL), LOCATED AT 3500 PAN AMERICAN DRIVE, MIAMI,
FLORIDA, 33133.
AT THE SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA, TO BE HELD ON JUNE 13, 2019 AT 9:00 A.M., IN ITS CHAMBERS AT CITY
HALL, 3500 PAN AMERICAN DRIVE, THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WILL
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEM RELATED TO THE REGULAR AGENDA:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO DRAFT A RESOLUTION FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE CITY
COMMISSION AT ITS JUNE 13, 2019 MEETING TO CO -DESIGNATE THAT PORTION
OF SOUTHWEST 6TH STREET FROM SOUTHWEST 27TH AVENUE TO BEACOM
BOULEVARD, MIAMI, FLORIDA AS "DR. EDUARDO J. PADRON WAY".
Copies of the proposed Resolution are available for review at the Resilience and Public
Works Department, Administration Division, located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 8t" Floor,
during regular working hours. Phone 305-416-1200.
The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at
the meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the City
Commission in which the City Commission may take action. Should any person desire
to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter to be
considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may
be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk
