Hannon References: Agenda for April 11, 2019 City Clerk Enclosures: List of members and Resolution The Code Compliance Task Force was created (1) to review the policies and procedures of the Department of Code Compliance; (2) to collect information and feedback from community members related to code compliance matters; (3) to review pending code compliance processes; and (4) to provide written recommendations to the City Commission. Upon submission of said written recommendations to the City Commission, the City Commission shall hold a public meeting to consider the written recommendations. At the conclusion of the City Commission's consideration of the written recommendations, the Task Force's responsibilities shall be deemed completed and the Task Force will be automatically sunsetted. The Task Force shall consist of five (5) regular voting members. All members shall be permanent residents of the City and shall have good reputations for integrity and community service. All members will serve without compensation. In addition, all members should have demonstrated an interest in, or experience relating to, the City Code or other governmental code enforcement procedures and processes. All members shall be subject to the provisions set forth in Section 2-884 of the City Code. Each District Commissioner shall appoint a member to the Task Force. No alternate members shall be appointed. Three (3) appointments are required at this time: Commissioner Wifredo (Willy) Gort has one (1) nomination for a seat currently: 1. Vacant. Commissioner Joe Carollo has one (1) nomination for a seat currently: 1. Vacant. Commissioner Keon Hardemon has one (1) nomination for a seat currently: 1. Vacant. For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said task force. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the April 11, 2019, Commission Agenda.
