The WAP application can also be downloaded from our website: www.AICW.or Through WAP over the past 33 years, the District has provided DON DONALDSON a total of over $231 million in funding assistance to local governments within our CHAIR District to perform waterways improvement projects. ST. LUCIE COUNTY J. CARL BLOW Project types eligible for funding include public navigation, public waterway access VICE -CHAIR ST. JOHNS COUNTY facilities, waterfront parks, environmental education and boating safety projects MICHAEL O'STEEN directly related to the waterways. The District also provides grants for land acquisition TREASURER which include opportunities for waterway access. Generally, ineligible costs include DUVAL COUNTY project maintenance, landscaping, in-house staff and reoccurring fees. Please see the FRANK GERNERT program rules for more details on project eligibility. The funding level of this year's SECRETARY program will be determined in July based upon the availability of funding to the BROWARD COUNTY District and the quality and number of applications received. Prior to March 4, 2019 Applicants schedule review of proposed projects with local FIND Commissioner, required before submission to the District office. March 29, 2019 Application due in the District office by 4:30 PM (No Exceptions) May 24, 2019 Application requirements must be completed or application will be eliminated from further consideration. June 14 & 15, Applicants make a 10 -minute presentation of application to FIND 2019 Board. Meeting held in Brevard County. July 19, 2019 FIND Board reviews additional requested information and the Commissioners will complete the Application's Rating & Evaluation Form. Board makes final funding decisions on remaining eligible applications (subject to budget process). Sept. 15, 2019 All remaining permits due. October 2019 Grant awards are announced. Funded applicants execute project agreement. Project funds become available, project initiates, timeline begins.
