Ew} N -r *** CODE COMPLIANCE MUST ISSUE "SPECIAL\PERMITS" OBTAINED PRIOR TO AN EVENT with 300 OR MORE attendees! MOST EVENTS ARE over 1,000 people (only allowed 1,500 at any event) ADJUSTMENT TO THE HOURS ALLOWED TO RUN! ***REPEATED VIOLATION CALLED IN: OF " LOUD, THUMPING, POUNDING, DISTURBING TECHNO/HOUSE MUSIC" DESIMATING INTO OUR COMMUNITIES! (Historic Palm Grove, Morningside Bayside/Baywoods, even Buena Vista) ***MANY POLICE, MAN HOURS SPENT ON JUST THIS ONE VENUE *** OCCURANCES: SINCE Sept. 7, 2018 The worst was Art Basel week Dec 6th -10th, 10 pm until 6 am 1. Garry Lafaille, Little Haiti, Administrator reminded us of permits up to 300 can be issued through the Net Offices, but 300 or MORE HAS to be GRANTED through CODE COMPLIANCE and the SPECIAL EVENTS OFFICER. 4. Other venues were brought up too: 295 NE 59th St 7200 NE 4th Court and NE 72nd St. Reminder of the Magic City Complex and the new Little Midtown complex at NE 54th near Soyka Restaurant. WE NEED OUR POLICE FORCE TO BE PRO ACTIVE AND BE ABLE TO CONTROL AND EVEN SHUT DOWN THESE DISTURBING VENUES WHILE IT IS HAPPENING "NOT REACTIVE AFTER NUMEROUS RESIDENTS ARE DISTURBED AND HAVE TO CALL POLICE AND CODE COMPLIANCE HOT LINE TO GET RESULTS! 6. NOW 363 NE 61St St, MAGIC CITY LOCATION ALREADY HAS BEEN ISSUES A VIOLATION BY CODE COMPLIANCE ***I, PERSONALLY, HAVE INFORMED, EMAILED CITY OFFICIALS ABOUT ALL OF THESE MATTERS ESPECIALLY LEMON CITY STUDIOS WHICH HAS CAUSED HAVOC TO OUR COMMUNITIES!
