The City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on funding amendments affecting the City's Annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitvdevelopment. The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 and ends on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address). Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to grant Southeast Overtown/Parkwest Community Redevelopment Agency ("SEOPW CRA"), an extension of time to complete construction, on the properties located at 244 NW 16th Street, 1900 NW 2"1 Court, 1624 NW 15t Court, and 1611 NW 3b Avenue, Miami, Florida, for the construction of affordable housing projects. 5. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program income funds in the amount of 150,000.00 from Department of Housing and Community Development to the agencies specified below, to provide technical assistance and business development training to small businesses.
