The City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 13, 2018
at 9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to
comment on funding amendments affecting the City's Annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development
(HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at:
www.miamigov.com/communitvdevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 and ends on
Wednesday, December 12, 2018. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on
Thursday, December 13, 2018. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and
Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address). Comments to
amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than
December 12, 2018. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the
handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed at 305-416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to
the public hearing date.

Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable
notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised
of the proposed new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated below* t t
1. Discuss and proposed resolution accepting the name change of Fanm Ayisyen Nanmiyami/Haitian Woman of Miami, Inc., to Family Action
Network Movement, Inc. in order to facilitate the transfer of $33,724.00 in Community Development Block Grant funds.
2. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of $7,198 in Community Development Block Grant funds from Coconut Grove
Collaborative to Thema Gibson Health Initiative for public service activities.
3. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of $743,000 from Social Service Gap program for PY:2018-2019 to the
agencies as described below, for public service activities.

4. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of Community Development Block Grant funds from Sunshine For All, Inc. in the
amount of $63,387 to Resilience and Public Works Department for Street and Sidewalk improvement.
5. Discuss and proposed resolution approving the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development's Affordable Housing
Incentive Strategies as recommended by the Housing and Commercial Loan Committee as required by F.S. 420.9076.
