City Commission Resolution 04-32.0 requires any City Commission
agenda item impacting the Miami River to first be presented to the
Miami River Commission {MRC} in order to create an advisory
recommendation to provide the City Commission. The City of Miami
did not notify the MRC about today's City Commission agenda item
PZ.2, which would create a new potential for allowing "Gambling
Facilities" in the "D3 -Waterfront industrial" and '76 -Urban Core"
zoning designations, both of which have numerous parcels along both
shores of the Miami River, Therefore, 1 respectfully request deferral
of the item, and cordially invite it to be presented to a MRC
subcommittee on October 15, 10 AM, 1407 NW 7 ST and the full.
MRC on November 5 in Lummus Park, 250 NW North River Drive.
Your time and continued support for the Miami River District are
appreciated.
Sincerely,
vo"Wiw =P...Ao
