A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION STAYING THE NOTICE TO
VACATE SENT TO RICKENBACKER MARINA, INC. DATED SEPTEMBER 14, 2018
UNTIL DECEMBER 13,2018-1 FURTHER DEFERRING CITY COMMISSION AGENDA
ITEMS RE.6 AND RE.7 FROM THE SEPTEMBER 27, 2018 CITY COMMISSION
MEETING UNTIL THE DECEMBER 13, 2018 CITY COMMISSION MEETING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In consideration of the voluntary payments of additional holdover rent
totaling three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) received from Rickenbacker Marina Inc.,
two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) received on September 27, 2018 and one hundred
fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) received on September 28, 2018), the City of Miami stays the
Notice to Vacate sent to Rickenbacker Marina, Inc., dated September 14, 2018 until the
December 13, 2018 City Commission Meeting.
Section 2. Agenda Items RE.6 and RE.7 scheduled on the September 27, 2018 City
Commission Meeting, are deferred until the December 13, 2018 City Commission Meeting.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.'

1 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from
the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
