HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-18-0311City of Miami 1 i.RR cl Legislation �a�lldl 1 l + Resolution: R-18-0311 File Number: 4559 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com Final Action Date: 7/26/2018 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WAIVING ANY AND ALL FEES AND COSTS RELATED TO ANY APPEALS TO THE CITY COMMISION FILED BY OWNERS OF THE PROPERTIES IN THE WEST GROVE THAT WERE DESIGNATED AS HISTORIC RESOURCES AS THE WOOD FRAME VERNACULAR RESIDENCES OF COCONUT GROVE VILLAGE WEST MULTIPLE PROPERTY DESIGNATION, PURSUANT TO HISTORIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION BOARD ("HEPB") RESOLUTION NO. HEPB-R-18-050 ADOPTED ON JULY 16, 2018. WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-33(e) of the City Code, the necessity for the various owners of the residential properties, or their legal agents, to timely file their appeals to the City Commission within fifteen (15) days of the rendition of HEPB Resolution No. HEPB-R-18-050, and to afford to be heard by the City Commission on appeal as provided in Section 23-4 of the City Code, the City Commission unanimously deems this Resolution to be of an emergency nature; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and finding contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. All fees and costs for appeals to the City Commission filed by owners of the properties in the West Grove that were designated as historic resources as part of the Wood Frame Vernacular Residences of Coconut Grove Village West Multiple Property Designation, pursuant to the HEPB Resolution No. HEPB-R-18-050 adopted on July 16, 2018, are hereby waived. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.' APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: Barnaby L.
