Reject Rezoning Petition NC.2695-2696 Wynwood 3043 NW 3rd Ave, the Western
portion of 3040 NW 2nd Ave 224.234, 244,25i, 262, 268, 278, 276, and NW 31 St.
221, 229, 237, 243, 251, 267, 269, 275,285 and 291 NW 30 St.
We, the undersigned, are Homeowners and concerned citizens who urge our
leaders to act now to firmly reject the forementioned rezoning petition. Planned
development of this area as presented by Westdale Wynwood LP would not benefit
local residents in the immediate area but would certainly be a detriment to all by
adding more steain to local infrastructure (police, fire departmentand other
responders), it would worsen an already terrible traffic patternand increase
accidents at one of the most dangerouse intersetions NW 2nd Ave.
Rezoning request 2695 - 2696 would change the single-family residential character
of the neighborhoods adjacent to the proposed project. We humbly ask that you
vote AGAINST rezoning rezoning petition - 2695- 2696. The proposed development
would add considerably to traffic making it undesirable to/for families in existing
single-family homes, speeding is already an epidemic.
We sincerly urge you and your fellow Council members to vote against zoning
request 2695-2696. More apartments and commercial are not needed in this area.
Please protect our neighborhoods. Thank you.
