Mr. Anthony Parrish offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI PLANNING, ZONING AND APPEALS BOARD
RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH
ATTACHMENT(S), AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10544, AS AMENDED, THE FUTURE LAND
USE MAP OF THE MIAMI COMPREHENSIVE NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN, PURSUANT TO
SMALL SCALE AMENDMENT PROCEDURES PURSUANT TO SECTION 163.3187, FLORIDA
STATUTES, BY CHANGING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF 1.03± ACRES OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY AT 2890 VIRGINIA STREET, MIAMI,
FLORIDA, FROM "MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL" AND "DUPLEX
RESIDENTIAL" TO "MEDIUM DENSITY RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL"; MAKING FINDINGS;
DIRECTING TRANSMITTALS TO AFFECTED AGENCIES; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Upon being seconded Ms. Maria Beatriz Gutierrez the motion passed and was adopted by a
vote of 6-4;

thereof, as recorded In Plat Book 40 at Page 29, of the Public Records of Miami -Dade County,
Florida.
LESS that parcel conveyed by that certain Warranty Deed to the City of Miami dated August 13,
1985 and recorded in Official Records Book 12627 at Page 218, of the Public Records of Miami
Dade County, Florida, said parcel being more particularly described as follows:
Those portions of Lots 13, 14, 15, 16 and 171n Block 2, of HIGHWAY PARK, according to the
Plat thereof, as recorded In Plat Book 40 at Page 29, of the Public Records of Miami -Dade
County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows:
The Northerly 5 feet of Lots 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17
AND
The external area of a circular curve having a radius of 25 feet and tangents, which are 25 feet
Easterly of and parallel with the centerline of S.W. 30th Court and 7.0 feet Southerly of and
parallel with the established City of Miami Monument Line on the Southerly side of U.S.
Highway No.1 (South Dixie Highway).
AND
The external area of a circular curve having a radius of 25 feet and tangents, which are 25 feet
Westerly and parallel with the center line of Virginia Street (S.W. 30th Avenue) and 7.0 feet
Southerly of and parallel with the established City of Miami Monument Line on the Southerly
Side of U.S. Highway No.1 (South Dixie Highway).
Said lands situate, lying and being In the City of Miami, Miami -Dade County, Florida.
