Where there is existing vegetation it shall be protected and remain. Where there are gaps between trees, new large shade trees shall be planted. On Royal Road, this includes the addition of Street trees to the existing small native trees that currently line the street, and the addition of understory shrubs and/or groundcovers where there is currently only rock. On Main Highway, where there is no room for Street trees, the wdsiting trees behind the coral rock walls will stay, and some additional trees will be added on the La Brisa Property behind the wall. On the North properly line where there is visibility through the existing vegetation, both shade trees and understory planting shall be added.
