The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 9:00
a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on
funding amendments affecting the City's Annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs.
The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitydevelnl)ment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draftlamend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 and ends on
Wednesday, May 9, 2018. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, May
10, 2018. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department
office located at 444 SW 2O°' AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CED Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to:
nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than May 9, 2098. Interested individuals are
encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for special accommodations
may be directed at 305-416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the public hearing date.

Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable
notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised
of the proposed new allocation(s)1 amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated below` t T
1. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager the transfer of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Economic
Development funds in the amount of $384,156 from funds provided to Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for acquisition andlor
rehabilitation of Community Center in 2016-2017 program year to the agencyldepartment as described below for economic development
activities.
2. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager the transfer of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds
in the amount of $1.53 Million from 2017-2018 unallocated CDBG funds, de -obligated funds from prior years activities and
unallocated program income to the Department of Real Estate and Asset Management for the purchase of Carver Theater located
at 6016 NW 7 Avenue, Miami, Florida for Community activities.
3. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the de -obligation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the agencies
and or departments as specified below in the total amount of $98,977.57 allocating said funds to the City of Miami Department of
Community and Economic Development, economic development eligible activities.

4. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to Convey to Empower "U" with parcel reverter provisions, of the City of
Miami owned parcel of land and the allocation of HOPWA funds in the amount of $700,000 to asssit in part with the Rehabilitation of the
properties.
5. Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager the transfer of funds, in the amount of $733,118 to Park and Recreation
Department for Park Improvements at ,lose Marti and Riverside Parks.
