No, / CIVILIAN INVESTIGATIVE PANEL RESOLUTION RESOLUTION FOR SALARY AND BENEFITS CIP RESOLUTION 17-01 FOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR WHEREAS, The Executive Director was hired in December 2013 at a salary of $125,000 and benefits which) included 96 hours of vacation, 2 days of personal leave and 11 holidays. It also included medical, dental, life and long term disability. She has not received any salary Increase since that date. WHEREAS, the City Commission approved the CIP's budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2016 and ending September 30, 2017 in an amount so as to enable the CIP to provide each employee a 5% raise and a car and cell phone allowance for the Executive Director. This is commensurate with similarly situated department Director's employed by the City of Miami. WHEREAS, the Chair of the CIP and a subcommittee met to evaluate the performance of the Executive Director and agreed that her work has been more than satisfactory. WHEREAS, the CIP met on April 19, 2017 and approved the work of the subcommittee and the recommendation made by the committee, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIVILIAN INVESTIGATIVE PANEL: Section 1: The recitals and findings contained in the preamble to this Resolution are incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section, Section 2: The CIP recommends to the City Commission that the salary and benefits received by Cristina Beamud as Executive Director be approved, subject to adherence of all City of Miami policies and procedures during, the term of her appointment. Section 3: The salary and benefits to be received by Cristina Beamud as Executive Director are set forth on "Attachment No. 1," attached and incorporated into this resolution. NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIVILIAN INVESTIGATIVE PANEL THAT: The CIP approved and recommended the salary and benefits for the Executive Director as they appear in attachment 1, Horatio Stuart Aguirre Chairperson, Civilian investigative Panel Date: April 19, 2017
