("ADA"), A&P Consulting Transportation Engineers, Inc. ("A&P"), BCC Enngineering, Inc. ("BCC"), Corradino Group ("Corradino"), Metric Engineering, Inc. ("Metric"), Palm Engineering, Inc. ("Palm"), Reynolds, Smith & Hills, Inc. ("RSH"), RJ Berhar & Company, Inc. ("RJ"), SRS Engineering, Inc. ("SRS"), Stantec Consulting Engineering, Inc. ("Stantec"), and Ty Lin/HJ Ross International ("TY Lin/HJ") authorized pursuant to Request for Qualifications RFQ 12-13-004 for the provision of Miscellaneous Civil Engineering Services, to increase the contract capacities of said PSAs by $250,000.00 for each firm, for a total contract capacity of $750,000.00, respectively. Background In May 1, 2014, OCI entered into professional services agreements with the consulting firms referenced above for needed civil engineering services for City of Miami's horizontal projects. The PSAs were approved through action of the City Manager in accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes for an amount not to exceed $500,000.00, respectively. Article 2.03 of the General Conditions of the PSA, Compensation, limits the compensation payable to ADA, A&P, BCC, Corradino, Metric, RJ, SRS, Stantec, and TY Lin/HJ to an amount not to exceed $500,000, respectively, unless approved by action of the City Commission and put into effect by a written amendment to the PSA executed by all parties. The PSA further stipulated that no new work orders can be issued to these civil engineering firms that would result in the existing approved compensation limits to be exceeded. At present, OCI continues to rely on the architectural services provided to the City of Miami ("City") under the PSA to provide additional services associated with various horizontal projects. OCI continues to request civil engineering design services and during and post -construction design management services from these consulting firms. The attached Exhibit "A" represents the various projects that are anticipated to begin design in FY16-17. To carry out these projects would require an increase in the funding capacities of the PSAs with the civil engineering firms. Accordingly, OCI seeks to increase the contract capacities of said PSAs from the original $500,000.00 capacity to a new contract capacity of $750,000.00 for each firm.
