The public hearing has been scheduled for December 8, 2016 Approved: Anna Medina, Agenda Coordinator cc: Dr. Lydia Osborne, CPPD, CPPB, Assistant Director, Procurement Pearl Bethel, Senior Procurement Contracting Manager Attachment Date: Patre 1 of 1 CITY OF MIAMI NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on December 8, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of waiving the requirements of obtaining sealed bids for the provision of Emergency Medical Transport Remounting Services for the Fire Rescue Department, at an estimated amount of $170,000.00 per remount, from Ten -8 Fire Equipment, Inc., sole source authorized distributor and sales facility for Braun Remounting, located at 2904 5911 Avenue Drive East, Bradenton, FL 34203. Inquiries from other potential sources of such a package who feel that they might be able to satisfy the City's requirements for this item may contact Eduardo Falcon, Procurement Contracting Manager, at the City of Miami Procurement Department at (305) 416-1901. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed acquisitions. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S.286.0105). In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk at (305) 250-5360 (Voice) no later than two (2) business days prior to the proceeding or at (305) 250-5472 (TTY) no later than three (3) business days prior to the proceeding.
