Sec. 18-112. - Contracts with other governmental agencies or state funded public institutions.
Notwithstanding all other provisions of this article, the city shall be exempt from all competitive bidding
procedures when it enters into an agreement with other governmental agencies Or state funded institutions
for the purchase or acquisition of goods or services; provided, however, that in the purchase or acquisition
of said goods or services in excess of $25,000.00, such agreement shall be approved by the city manager,
and purchases of goods Or services in excess of $50,000.00 shall be subject to approval by the city
commission.
