The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at
9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to
comment on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development
(HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at:
www.miamipov.comicommunitydevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan, Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 and ends on
Wednesday, September 7, 2016. The proposed. amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday,
September 8, 2016. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development
Department office located at 444 SW 211d AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33930 (CED Address), Comments to amendment(s) must be
submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than September 7, 2096.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped, Requests for
special accommodations may be directed at 305-416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the public hearing date.

Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of
and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the proposed
new allocation(s)/ amendments to the funding of the City program(s) as Indicated below: *tt
1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of Program Income from Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG")
funds, generated from December 3, 2015 to June 30, 2016 in the amount of $315,267,07 as described below,

2. Discussion and proposed resolution accepting an additional amount of $22,429 in State Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program for fiscal
_ year 20158-2016.
3. Discussion and proposed resolution accepting the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funds for fiscal year 2016-2017 in the
amount of $1,758,650 for the strategies under the current SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan ("LHAP" ).
4. Discussion and proposed tasking Housing Commercial Loan Committee ("HCLC") to study the Housing Affordability Crisis in the City of
Miami and make policy recommendations to the City Commission.
