The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamiaov.com/communitvdevelopment. The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 and ends on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department office located at 444 SW 2"a AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CED Address). In addition, the public is advised of the proposed new allocation(s)/ amendments to the funding of the City programs as indicated below:* t t 1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the amendment of the Citizen Participation Plan, previously approved by Resolution No. 08- 0643, adopted November 13, 2008 and substituting it; updating the definition of substantial and non -substantial amendments to the consolidated and/or annual, further clarifying public hearing requirements, and public notice comment period requirements to comply with the code of federal regulations 24CFR 914.105. 2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the amendment of the Commercial Fagade and Code Compliance program policies to include an increase in the limit for commercial fagade repairs from $10,000 to $20,000 and to eliminate matching fund contribution from business owner for the Fagade program in District 5. 3.
