A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES, GENERAL
SEGMENT, FROM PUBLIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, INC., ON A CITYWIDE AS
NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 18-111 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, UTILIZING THE EXISTING
COMPETITIVELY BID CONTRACT OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO, 00008, EFFECTIVE THROUGH OCTOBER
31, 2017, SUBJECT TO ANY RENEWALS, EXTENSIONS, AND/OR REPLACEMENT
CONTRACTS BY MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS AND
AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY
APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, IN
SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") desires to piggyback the contract currently in place
between Miami -Dade County, Florida and Public Financial Management, Inc, for the provision of
financial advisory services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The provision of financial advisory services, general segment, from Public Financial
Management, Inc., on a Citywide as needed contractual basis, pursuant to Section 18-111 of the Code
of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, utilizing the existing competitively bid contract of
Miami -Dade County, Florida, Request for Qualifications No. 00008, effective through October 31;
2017, subject to any renewals, extensions and/or replacement contracts by Miami -Dade County,
Florida, is authorized, with funds allocated from various sources of funds from the user departments
and agencies, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized {1) to execute the Supplemental Agreement to the
Miami -Dade County, Florida contract, in substantially the attached form, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor. {2}

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed
by the City Attorney, including but not limited to, those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
