Hannon References: Agenda for June 9, 2016 City Clerk Enclosures: List of members The Code Enforcement Board was created to issue orders having the force of law commanding whatever steps are necessary to bring a Code violation into compliance. Florida Statutes Section 162.05(2) requires members of the Code Enforcement Board to be residents of the City of Miami. City Code Section 2-812 states that whenever possible, the board is to consist of an architect, a businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, a subcontractor, and a realtor. Four (4) appointments are needed at this time: • Vice Chair Ken Russell has one (1) nomination for a seat currently: 1. Vacant. (Adam Gersten resigned effective October 7, 2015)* • Commissioner Francis Suarez has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by: 1. Eduardo Moralejo, incumbent, whose term expired on March 14, 2016, has served as a member since December 15, 2005, and will require a term waiver by a unanimous (5/5) vote of the Commission.t • Commission At Large has two (2) nominations for seats currently: 1. Vacant, Alternate Member. (Marta Zayas resigned effective September 19, 2013), 2. Vacant, Alternate Member. (Jose Bravo resigned effective December 9, 2013)§ .
