Subject: A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Lease Agreement between the City of
Miami ("City") and Park Place Associates, LLC ("Lessor") for rooftop use for communication equipment at
915 NW 1 Avenue.
Purpose of Item:
A resolution of the Miami City Commission with attachments authorizing the City Manager, to execute a
Lease Agreement between the City of Miami ("City") and Park Place Associates, LLC ("Lessee") for use of
approximately 324 square feet of rooftop space and an enclosed equipment room of the Biscayne View
Apartment Building located at 915 NW 1st Avenue for the purpose of operating and maintaining the City's
communication equipment currently housed on the premises for an annual amount of four thousand four
hundred ($4,400.00) funded by account #05001.245000.544000.0.0, Rentals and Leases, with additional
terms and conditions as more particularly set forth in said agreement.

Subject: A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Lease Agreement between the City of
Miami ("City") and Park Place Associates. LLC ("Lessor") for rooftop use for communication equipment
at 915 NW 1 Avenue.
Background Information:
Park Place Associates, LLC is the owner of the property located at 915 NW 15t Avenue, known as Biscayne
View Apartment Building.
The City is has leased this property since December 20, 1994 as the site for their internal communications
equipment.
The communication equipment is currently in place and is needed on a continued basis to service the City's
internal business activities.
The Lease Agreement shall be for an initial term of two (2) years beginning retroactively on January 1, 2016
and shall renew automatically, on a yearly basis unless either party, Lessor or City, provides written
notification of cancellation sixty (60) days prior to the yearly renewal date.
The City shall pay an annual fee of four thousand four hundred dollars ($4,400,00).
