Enclosed is an ad for notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Commission on April 14, 2016
for the purpose of granting a perpetual non-exclusive water utility easement on City -owned property
on Virginia Key to Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department ("WASD").
Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City Commission.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on April 14, 2016 at 9:00
A.M. at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133 for the purpose of granting
the following:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT ON CITY -OWNED PROPERTY
LYING AT 3501 RICKENBACKER CAUSEWAY AND 3511 RICKENBACKER
CAUSEWAY AT VIRGINIA KEY, MIAMI, FLORIDA ("PROPERTY'), TO MIAMI-DADE
WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT ("WASD"), OF A WATER LINE EASEMENT
RUNNING APPROXIMATELY TWELVE (12) FEET WIDE BY ONE THOUSAND FOUR
HUNDRED AND NINETY-SIX (1,496) FEET IN LENGTH, FOR A PERPETUAL NOW
EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT ON THE PROPERTY, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION,
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SAID UNDERGROUND UTILITY FACILTIES,
WITH THE RIGHT TO RECONSTRUCT, IMPROVE, CHANGE AND REMOVE ALL OR
ANY OF THE FACILITIES WITHIN THE EASEMENT.
The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at this meeting and
are invited to express their views. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission
with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of
the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S.
286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations
