NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall,
3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, 33133 for the purpose of waiving the
requirements of obtaining sealed bids for EZ-iO Intraosseous Infusion System from
Arrow International, a part of Teleflex Incorporated, a Non -Minority/ Non -Local vendor,
located at PO Box 601608, Charlotte, NC, 28260-1608, in an amount not to exceed
$25,000.00 per year for a three (3) year contract period not to exceed $75, 000.00.
Funds will be allocated from Account Code No. 00001 .1 84010.552100.0000.00000.
Inquiries from other potential sources of such product who feel that they might be able
to satisfy the City's requirement for this item may contact Pearl Bethel, City of Miami
Department of Purchasing, at (305) 416-1949.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such
proposed acquisition. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City
Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and
evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
