Director Chief" / City Manage Baclround Ination In accordance with Resolution No. 15-00188, the City executed the First Amendment to the Participation Agreement with JPMorgan for a period of twelve (12) months (April 1, 2015 March 31, 2016) to allow for continuity of services while re -procurement functions were completed. During the approved time period, it was the City's intent to issue a solicitation under full and open competition for the P -card and Banking Services. In consultation with the Finance Department it was determined that it is not in the City's best interest to procure both services under one solicitation. Through this Second Amendment, the Participation Agreement would be extended for an additional twelve (12) month period (April 1, 2016 — March 31, 2017) with JPMorgan to allow for the unobstructed continuity of services while the City completes the re -procurement of services through its full and open competitive solicitation process, in addition to effectuating a seamless transition of financial provider, if necessary.
