Background Information: The Police Department has a need to purchase breeches and boots. On December 4, 2015, the Department of Procurement (Procurement) issued Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 527387 for the purchase of breeches and boots. As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued on-line. On December 28, 2015, at the bid opening, two (2) bids were submitted and have been tabulated. Procurement is recommending award to Gold Nugget d/b/a Argo Uniform, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The estimated annual contract amount is approximately $32,320.00.
