Subject: A Resolution accepting an Access Agreement from Tejera TV, LLC for filming at the City's
police department and other premises within the jurisdiction of the City of Miami
Purpose of Item:
A Resolution of the Miami City Commission, with attachment(s), authorizing the City Manager to
execute an Access Agreement, in substantially the attached form, with Tejera TV, LLC, ("Company")
to allow Company to film at the City's police department located at 400 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami,
Florida 33128, and other premises within the jurisdiction of the City of Miami ("City"); further
authorizing the City Manager to designate the Chief of Police to execute any other necessary
documents in order to implement the acceptance of said programs.

Background Information:
The City is anticipating the acceptance of an Access Agreement with Tejera TV, LLC. The intent of
this agreement is to allow the company to film interior and/or exterior scenes in connection with the
production of television programs depicting law enforcement events and related activities.
Tejera TV, LLC, acknowledges and agrees that in order to protect the integrity of the City's work,
maintain the safety of officers, the public and the Company's personnel, and to minimize liability to
the City, Company shall comply with all instructions and restrictions as directed by the City. Any
filming by the Company and the work of the Company's personnel shall not interfere in any manner
whatsoever with the City's performance of its duties.
In lieu of utilizing such formula as a cast line item or on a per -performance basis, Company shall
make monetary contribution deemed payable to the Miami Police Athletic League, Inc., and/or as
may be otherwise directed to benevolent local law enforcement causes.
Company shall be entitled to film at the location commencing upon the execution of the agreement
by both parties, and continuing to and including September 30, 2018. Upon mutual agreement of the
City and the Company, the term of this agreement may be extended for four (4) additional one-year
periods.
