Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of
and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the proposed
new allocation(s)/ amendments to the funding of the City programs as indicated below:* ft
1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to transfer 2015-2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG),
Economic Development funds in the amount of $250,000 from City of Miami, Single Family Rehabilitation Reserve funds -D4 allocate and
amount of $150,000 to Latin Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America (CAMACOL) for commercial fagade improvement
activities an amount of'$100,000 to C&H Aesthetic Center, Corp. for economic development activities, specially, job creation.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to transfer from the City of Miami, Department of Community and
Economic Development, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Income funds, in the total amount of $401,175. Allocate
an amount of $80,235 to Community & Economic Development Department for program administration and an amount of $320,940 to Fire -
Rescue Department to purchase fire equipment for use in low and moderate income areas of the City.
3. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to allocate Community Development Block Grant funds (CDBG) in the
amount of $100,000 from D4 Economic Development Loan program fund, to C&H Aesthetic Center, Corp. for economic development
activities, specially, job creation.
t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins
Tuesday, September 8, 2015 and ends Wednesday, October 7, 2015. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission
for approval on Thursday, October 8, 2015 (public hearing).
Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Department of Community & Economic Development office located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue,
2nd floor, Miami, Florida, 33130. Comments to the amendments must be submitted in writing to: 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd floor, Miami,
Florida, 33130: Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than Wednesday, October 7, 2015.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for special
accommodations may be directed to the Department of Community & Economic Development at (305) 416-2080 no less than three (3)
business days prior to the Public Hearing date.

The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at
9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to
comment on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development
(HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at:
www.miamigov.com/communitydevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 and ends on
Wednesday, October 7, 2015. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday,
