The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Fl- 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitydevelopment. The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 and ends on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department office located at 444 SW 2nd AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CED Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted in writing to the Address, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than September 9, 2015. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. (ABDA) for section 8 Housing Quality Standard Inspection. 2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of program year 2015-2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in the amount of $150,000 from City of Miami Park Acquisition D-4 to CAMACOL for commercial fagade improvement activities. 3. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to transfer an amount of $14,868 CDBG funds originally allocated to Coconut Grove Cares, Inc. to the Start Program, Inc. for public service activities. 4. Acceptance of State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funds for fiscal year 2015-2016 for housing activities as specified in the SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP). t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days.
