NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN, PURSUANT TO SMALL SCALE AMENDMENT
PROCEDURES SUBJECT TO §163.3187, FLORIDA STATUTES, BY
CHANGING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE ACREAGE
DESCRIBED HEREIN OF REAL PROPERTIES AT APPROXIMATELY 53 AND
61 NORTHEAST 41ST STREET AND 50, 58, AND 68 NORTHEAST 42ND
STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FROM "GENERAL COMMERCIAL" AND
"DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL" TO "MAJOR INSTITUTIONAL, PUBLIC FACILITIES,
TRANSPORTATION, AND UTILITIES"; MAKING FINDINGS; DIRECTING
TRANSMITTALS TO AFFECTED AGENCIES; CONTAINING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Location: Approximately 53 and 61 NE 41st Street and 50, 58, and 68 NE 42nd Street

Applicant(s): Tony Recio, Esquire, on behalf of the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, Inc.
and joint applicant Daniel J. Alfonso, City Manager, on behalf of the City of
Miami
Purpose: This will change the above properties from "General Commercial" and "Duplex
Residential" to "Major Institutional, Public Facilities, Transportation, and
Utilities".
