Subject: Execute Revocable License - Elite Marine Concierge
Purpose of Item:
A Resolution of the City of Miami Commission, with attachment(s), authorizing the City
Manager to execute a revocable license, in substantially the attached form ("License"),
between the City of Miami ("City") and Elite Marine Concierge Inc., for a portion of the
City owned property located at 3501 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, FL, for a use fee
in the amount of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500.00) per month, with
additional terms and conditions as set forth in the License.
Background of Item:
The City is the owner of real property located at 3501 Rickenbacker Causeway known
as Marine Stadium Marina.
Since 2005, the City has entered into agreements with for profit corporations, for an
approximately 1,729 square foot space, to run a concession and marine repair shop as
an amenity to the City marina customers.
The City received a proposal from Elite Marine Concierge Inc. who has over 15 years of
experience running similar businesses at both Haulover Marina and Crandon Marina.
The City and wishes to enter into the License with Elite Marine Concierge Inc., which is
revocable with 30 days prior written notice, to run the concession and repair shop.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A REVOCABLE LICENSE
AGREEMENT ("LICENSE"), IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") AND ELITE MARINE CONCIERGE INC. ("LICENSEE")
FOR A PORTION OF THE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3501
RICKENBACKER CAUSEWAY, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR A USE FEE IN THE AMOUNT
OF FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($4,500.00) PER MONTH, WITH
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS SET FORTH IN THE LICENSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is the owner of real property located approximately at
3501 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, Florida, known as Marine Stadium Marina ("Marina");
and
WHEREAS, since 2005, the City has entered into agreements for an approximate 1,729
square foot space with for profit corporations for the purpose of operating a concession and
repair shop as an amenity to Marina customers; and
WHEREAS, the City received a proposal from Elite Marine Concierge Inc. ("Licensee"),
a company with over fifteen (15) years' experience running similar businesses at both Haulover
Marina and Crandon Marina; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into a Revocable License Agreement ("License"), in
substantially the attached form, with the Licensee to run the concession and repair shop at the
Marina, said License being revocable for convenience upon thirty (30) days' prior written notice;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized' to execute the License, in
substantially the attached form, between the City and the Licensee for a portion of the City -
owned Marina for a use fee in the amount of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500.00) per
month with additional terms and conditions as set forth in the License.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.2
' The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by
the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
2 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from
the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
