NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday December
14, 2017 at 9:00 AM, to consider the award of a contract to the non-profit
organization listed below through Anti -Poverty grant funds from the Mayor's
share of the City of Miami's Anti -Poverty Initiative Programa Collaborative
Development Corporation for the KROMA Arts Incubator, and to consider
the City Manager's recommendations and finding that competitive negotiation
methods are not practicable or advantageous regarding these issues:
• Collaborative Development Corporation: KROMA Arts Incubator
Inquiries regarding this notice may be addressed to Malissa Trevino, Project
Manager for the Office of Community Investment, Office of the City Manager,

This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-85 (A) of the Code of
the City of Miami, Florida as amended (the "Code"). The recommendations
and findings to be considered in this matter are set forth in the proposed
resolution and in Code Section 18-85 (A), which are deemed to be incorporated
by reference herein and are available as with the regularly scheduled City
Commission meeting of Thursday December 14, 2017 at Miami City Hall,
3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida.
The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or
represented at the meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition
before the City Commission in which the City Commission may take action.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission
with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony
and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons
needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact

on December 14, 2017 commencing at 9:00 A.M., in the City Commission

AN ORDINANCE OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ESTABLISHING A
NEW SECTION 2-208 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA,
AS AMENDED ("CITY CODE"), ENTITLED "NEW PERMITS PROHIBITED,
NON -HOMESTEAD PROPERTIES," TO PROHIBIT NEW PERMITS FROM
BEING ISSUED FOR NON -HOMESTEAD PROPERTIES WHERE THERE
ARE OUTSTANDING CODE ENFORCEMENT VIOLATIONS, BUILDING
VIOLATIONS, CITY LIENS, OR CITY INVOICES DUE AND OWING; AMENDING
SECTION 10-4 OF THE CITY CODE TO ADD SECTION 10-4(B)(6), ENTITLED
"NEW PERMITS PROHIBITED, NON -HOMESTEAD PROPERTIES," FOR

Commission meeting will announce the commencement of an

the pending litigation case of Village of Key Biscayne v. City of Miami,
