Morry Mason acquired the company in 1940 while acting as the Architectural Engineer for Taylor Construction. Morry began by building some of Miami's legendary hotels, including the Fontainebleau, Eden Roc, Savoy, Raleigh and Delano. Morry worked with Morris Lapidus in establishing the foundation for the Art Deco design for which South Miami Beach became famous. In 1954, Morry came to Las Vegas to build the Riviera Hotel.
