We would also appreciate your cooperation in providing us with the necessary permit for the installation of 30 booths in the fairgrounds, including the approval of the -Zoning Board for this purpose. As you are aware, the purpose of the "Feria de los Municipios" is to. expose the folklore, traditions and culture of our motherland, while striving to maintain the strong family ties that are valued so high, and to promote a warmer and a closer relationship with other ethnic groups of our community. For the 1988 event and with the cooperation of Marsans International and Eastern Airlines, we have been able to obtain substantial discounts 1 on airfare and hotel accommodations for those members of the Municipios de Cuba en el Exilio residing in other cities of the United States and in other countries and willing to attend the "feria". This achievement, _ by itself, is an indication of the success we all expect. As in the past, we sincerely appreciate the dedicated assistance of the City Commission and the City Manager's Office. We take this oppor- tunity to extend to all of you the most cordial invitation to the offi- cial inauguration of the "6th Fair of the Cuban Municipalities", at 7.30 p.m., on Thursday, April 7,,,1988.
