Based on the findings below, the Procurement Department hereby recommends award to
Garrison Mechanical Service Corporation ("Garrison Mechanical"), the sole authorized dealer for
Airhawk Exhaust Removal Systems ("Airhawk Exhaust Systems") in Southeastern Florida.

The Department of Fire -Rescue ("Fire -Rescue") has a continuous need to maintain and repair its
eleven (11) Airhawk Exhaust Systems currently in use in Fire Stations 1-10 and in Fire Station
12. The Airhawk Exhaust Systems, which removes harmful diesel exhaust fumes from fire stations
as diesel -powered apparatus enter and exit, play a crucial role in ensuring firefighter safety.
Airhawk Exhaust Systems require regular maintenance and occasional repairs in order to
effectively remove toxins from the air that could be harmful to the City's firefighters within their
stations. Garrison Mechanical is the sole authorized vendor for servicing these systems, and this
exclusive partnership ensures that the City can uphold the lifetime warranty for parts replacement.
To maintain the required level of functionality, it is essential that the Airhawk Exhaust Systems
working within the City's Fire Stations are properly maintained and repaired, when required. Fire -
Rescue is working to establish a six (6) year maintenance agreement that will extend the useful
lives of its Airhawk Exhaust Systems.
Airhawk Exhaust Systems are manufactured in Cincinnati, OH by MagneGrip Group. Airhawk
Exhaust Systems are sold through a three -tiered distribution process, through Rossman
Enterprises, Inc. dba Clean Air Concepts, which is the regional distributor. Garrison Mechanical,
located in Pembroke Pines, FL, is the only authorized dealer authorized to service Airhawk
Exhaust Systems that serves southeastern Florida. There is one other authorized dealer within

the State of Florida, McDonald Air & Sheet Metal, Inc., however, this dealer's activities are
restricted to the north and central Florida regions.
