A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO INCUR THE NECESSARY EXPENSE
FOR THE RETENTION OF THOSE PERSONS TO SUPPLY
INFORMATION OR EXPERTISE FOR THE PURPOSE OF
INSTITUTING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS WHICH
SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO APPRAISALS,
ABSTRACTS, SURVEYS AND ANY OTHER SUCH EXPENSES
WHICH MAY BE NECESSARY, THE SAID SUMS TO BE
REIMBURSED FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE BOND ISSUE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission had directed the City
Attorney to institute the necessary condemnation and eminent domain
proceedings to acquire certain properties in connection with the
program of the March 14, 1972 bond issue; and
WHEREAS, incident to these proceedings it is necessary
that certain expenses be incurred; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that he be authorized
to incur said expense and the Commission makes the necessary appropria-
tions for said purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to incur the necessary expense for the retention of
those persons to supply information or expertise for the purpose of
instituting condemnation and eminent domain proceedings which shall
include but not be limited to appraisals, abstracts, surveys and
any other such expenses which may be necessary, the said sums to be
reimbursed from the proceeds of the bond issue.
