RESOLUTION NO._72 '2
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION TAKEN
BY THE CITY MANAGER IN THE SUBMISSION OF
A FEDERAL GRANT APPLICATION TO THE DEPART-
MENT OF JUSTICE, LAW ENFORCEMENT ADMINIS-
TRATION, TO INITIATE A PROJECT ENTITLED,
"CITY OF MIAMI POLICE SURVEILLANCE OPERATION";
AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT THE GRANT AND EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND
AGREEMENTS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT
UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action taken by the City Manager in
the submission of a Federal Grant Application to the Department
of Justice, Law Enforcement Administration, to initiate a project
entitled, "City of Miami Police Surveillance Operation" is hereby
confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to
accept the grant and execute contracts and agreements necessary to
implement the project upon receipt of the grant.
