A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AND DELIVER TO THE HOLY CROSS
EPISCOPAL CHURCH A QUIT -CLAIM DEED FOR
A SMALL AREA OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
ABUTTING LOTS 4 AND 5, BLOCK 3, COMMER-
CIAL BUENA VISTA (14-56) LOCATED AT THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF N.E. 1 AVENUE AND
38 STREET.
WHEREAS, when the alignment of N.E. 1 Avenue was changed
in conjunction with the construction of the 36th Street Express-
way (S . R. 25) , a small area of right of way was isolated by the
construction of sidewalk and curb and gutter; this area is abut-
ting Lots 4 and 5, Block 3, COMMERCIAL BUENA VISTA (14-56); and
WHEREAS, the Holy Cross Episcopal Church, the owner of
the above -mentioned Lots 4 and 5, Block 3, COMMERCIAL BUENA VISTA
(14-56), has petitioned the City of Miami to convey this small
area of right of way to their organization; and
WHEREAS, the City does not plan to use this aforementioned
area of right of way in the foreseeable future and it appears
reasonable to grant the request of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church
to return this land to them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute and deliver
to the Holy Cross Episcopal Church a Quit -Claim Deed for a small
area of right of way abutting Lots 4 and 5, Block 3, COMMERCIAL
BUENA VISTA (14-56), as recorded in Plat Book 14, at Page 56, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, as described in said

Deed, copy of said Deed being attached hereto and trade a part
hereof.

City of Miami Quit -Claim Deed
to Holy Cross Episcopal Church

We are enclosing a City Quit -Claim Deed conveying certain property
to Holy Cross Episcopal Church as authorized by Resolution No. 72-223,
passed and adopted by the City Commission on May 19, 1972.
When this instrument has been fully executed by you and Mr. Reese,
please return it to us with a certified copy of said Resolution No.
72-223 in order that we may forward it to the attorneys for the church,
requesting them to record the deed with a Xerox copy of the recording
sent to us for our records.
