A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED
MAY 1 8, 1972 OP C. A. DAVIS INC.
IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF i 9§.646.
FOR THE MANOR AND MOORE PARKS .. TENNIS
COURT RENOVATION - 1972; AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received May 18, 1972 for the MANOR
AND MOORE PARKS - TENNIS COURT RENOVATION - 1972; and
WHEREAS, funds for this project were allocated by
Resolution No. 72-7; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
C. A. Davis, Inc. in the amount
of $ 96,646.00 is the lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends
that contract be awarded to said company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of
C. A. Davis, Inc.
received May 18, 1972 for the MANOR AND MOORE PARKS - TENNIS
plus Additive Item I
COURT RENOVATION - 1972, namely Base Bid/ of Proposal, based
on lump sum bid, at a total estimated cost of $ 94646.00
be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of
Miami for the MANOR AND MOORE PARKS - TENNIS COURT RENOVATION -
1972.
