A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED
MAY 16, 1972 OF FLORIDA UNDERGROUND 'UTILITIES, INC.
IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF$.14R 9[1l - 97
FOR THE CRYSTAL STORM SEWER PROJECT --
1972; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OP $ 16 6 776.00
FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER
BOND FUND"; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received May 16, 1972 for the CRYSTAL
STORM SEWER PROJECT - 1972; and funds in the amount of $ 166,776.00
are available for allocation from the account entitled "Storm
Sewer Bond Fund"; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Florida Underground Utilities, Inc.in the amount of $ 148.907.27
is the lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends that contract
be awarded to said company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of Florida itndPrgrn»nd Inc.
received May 16, 1972 for CRYSTAL STORM SEWER PROJECT - 1972,
namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on unit prices,
at a total estimated cost of $ 148,907.27 , be and the
same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That them:WM=1ot amount of $ 166,776.00
be allocated from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund".
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of
Miami for the CRYSTAL STORM SEWER PROJECT - 1972.
