RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
MAY 1, 1972, OF HARTFORD INSURANCE GROUP,
THROUGH ITS LOCAL AGENT, COLEMAN-LEDBETTER-
BUCHANAN, FOR A THREE (3) YEAR INSURANCE
POLICY UNDER PLAN IV COVERING ALL AUTOMOBILES,
TRUCKS AND MOVING EQUIPMENT OWNED BY THE CITY
OF MIAMI, AT AN ANNUAL PREMIUM OF $205,788.00;
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PROPER
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO PAY FOR THE
INSURANCE COVERAGE FROM THE APPROPRIATE ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, a bid was received on May 1, 1972, by.the City
Manager and City Clerk for a three (3) year insurance policy
covering all automobiles, trucks and moving equipment owned by
the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of Hartford
Insurance Group, through its local agent, Coleman -Ledbetter -
Buchanan, is the best (acceptable) bid and recommends that said
bid be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received May 1, 1972, of Hartford Insur-
ance Group, through its local agent, Coleman -Ledbetter -Buchanan,
for a three (3) year insurance policy under Plan IV covering all
automobiles, trucks and moving equipment owned by the City of Miami,
at an annual premium of $205,788.00, be and the same is hereby,
accepted.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are
hereby authorized and directed to pay for the insurance coverage
