A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO AMERICAN
LAFRANCE P''OR THE REPLACEMENT OF ENGINES,
TRANSMISSIONS AND OTHER MODIFICATIONS, NOT
TO EXCEED AN EXPENDITURE OF $27, 500; FURTHER
ALLOCATING $27, 500 FROM FIRE FIGHTING AND
RESCUE FACILITIES BOND FUND TO ACCOMPLISH
THE PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENTS TO MODERNIZE
SAID THREE PIECES OF FIRE APPARATUS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager be, and is hereby, authorized
to issue a purchase order to American LaFrance for the replacement
of engines, transmissions and other modifications, not to exceed an
expenditure of $27, 500.
Section 2. That the amount of $27, 500 be, and is hereby,
allocated from Fire Fighting and Rescue Facilities Bond Fund to
accomplish the purchase of replacements to modernize said three
pieces of Fire Apparatus.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this/day of AdVPY, 1972.
