A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY PAN AMERICAN CONSTRUCTION CO.
AT A TOTAL COST OF $153,550.14 AND AUTHORIZ-
ING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $17,079.41 FOR THE
MODEL CITIES BEAUTIFICATION - 1971.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated September 15, 1971
between the City of Miami and Pan American Construction Co., and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and Pan
American Construction Co. has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, funds for this project will be reimbursed by the
Model Cities Division of the Metropolitan Dade County Department
of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that the
completed work be accepted and final payment made to the Contract-
or.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI , `F LOR rDA :
Section 1. The completed work performed by Pan American
Construction Co. for the MODEL CITIES BEAUTIFICATION - 1971 (Bid
"B" - Highway Portion) at a total cost of $153,550.14, be, and
the same is hereby, accepted.

Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay Pan American Con-
struction Co. a balance of $17,079.41 as full and final pay-
ment for all work performed and all materials furnished in
connection with the MODEL CITIES BEAUTIFICATION - 1971 (Bid
"B" - Highway Portion).
