A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE FREE USE OF
THE BAYFRONT PARK AUDITORIUM BY THE
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY COMMUNITY
ACTION AGENCY FOR A BENEFIT AFFAIR FOR
THE BOOKER Teo WASHINGTON COMMUNITY
SCHOOL ON MAY 29, 1972.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 7733 provides for a free use for
public purposes of certain Municipal facilities; and
WHEREAS, the organization requesting free use of the City
facility comes within the purview of organizations which are educa-
tional, literary, scientific, religious or charitable, or is performing
a public purpose, and said use is deemed by this Commission to be
for a public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Commission of the City of Miami confirms
granting of the free use of the Bayfront Park Auditorium by the
Metropolitan Dade County Community Action Agency for a benefit
affair for the Booker T. Washington Community School on May 29,
1972, subject to the following terms and conditions:
(a) That said organization shall obtain liability insurance
in such amounts and with such carriers as the City Manager
deems appropriate for the protection of the City;
(b) Payment of utilities used for the staging of said event
shall be paid for by the above named organization;
(c) Payment for all City personnel necessary for the

operation of the City's facility during the staging
of said event, and payment for all police personnel
required for the staging of said event deemed necessary
by the facility manager shall be paid by the organization.
(d) Payment for all costs necessary for the cleanup of the
City's facility after staging said event deemed necessary
by the facility manager shall be paid by the organization.
Section 2. The necessary funds for this purpose shall be
taken from the Contingent Fund.
