RESOLUTION NO. i ./
A RESOLUTION AUTHORISING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO GOLDIE P. HAYES,
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $45.81 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE-
MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, GOLDIE P. HAYES filed a claim against
the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $45.81
when a crossarm slipped and hit the bumper of her car on
December 3, 1971, at Biscayne Boulevard and S.E. 2nd Street,
due to a City "cherry -picker" crane working for the New Year's
Parade; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the
office of the City Attorney and said office recommends that
this claim be settled for the sum of $45.81;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and
he is hereby authorized to pay to GOLDIE P. HAYES,
without the admission of liability, the sum of $45.81 in full
and complete settlement of all claims and demands against the
City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
