A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO FRANCES FANDREY,
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $20.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE-
MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, FRANCES FANDREY filed a claim against
the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $20.00
when a Miami City police officer removed a portion out of a rug
in an apartment where there was a homicide case, on October 16,
1971, at 2968 S.W. 16th Street, belonging to the Claimant; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the
office of the City Attorney and said office recommends that
this claim be settled for the sum of $20.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and
he is hereby authorized to pay to FRANCES FANDREY,
without the admission of liability, the sum of $20.00 in full
and complete settlement of all claims and demands against the
City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
