A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO WILLIAMS H. PULLINS, JR.,
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $30.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE-
MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, WILLIAM H. PULLINS, JR. filed a claim against
the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $30.00;
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by then
office of the City Attorney and said office recommends that
this claim be settled for the sum of $30.00 to pay for damage
to Claimant's bed when one shot fired by a City policeman pur-
suing a fleeing criminal entered the Claimant's apartment, on
September 24, 1971 between 4:30 and 5:30 A.M., in the vicinity
of 268 N. W. llth Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and
he is hereby authorized to pay to WILLIAM H. PULLINS, JR,
without the admission of liability, the sum of $30.00 in full
and complete settlement of all claims and demands against the
City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
